The alpha-numeric project number for these two vehicles is yet to be made public, but many people will patiently wait. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and the 2014 GMC Sierra trucks will be replacing the GMT900 series in the coming year. The GMT900 Series had been around since 2007 when it replaced the GMT800. The popularity of this series has led to this new and more modern model being developed. An added bonus is the Active Fuel Management feature that will be useful for V-4 engines that are being driven on lighter roads. This will go a long way towards conserving fuel.
